Green Day Box Set And Vinyl Reissues Coming

Green Day box set will be released by Reprise Records on July 21.

The still-untitled package will feature singles from the pop-punk band's career, including those from their Foxboro Hot Tubs and The Network alter-egos. It will also have B-sides, international tracks and live material.

Green Day's entire catalogue will be released chronologically on vinyl by Reprise this year, starting with their first two albums.

The group's
39/Smooth debut, which was originally released by Lookout! Records in 1990, will be available along with two seven-inch vinyl singles ("Slappy" and "1000 Hours") on March 24. The band's second Lookout! album, 1992's Kerplunk, will come out the same day with the "Sweet Children" seven-inch.

Dookie, Green Day's 1994 breakthrough album and Reprise debut, will be released on April 18 to coincide with Record Store Day.

Insomniac (1995) will come out on May 12. A gatefold sleeve will house 1997's Nimrod when it returns on vinyl on June 16. Warning, from 2000, will follow on July 14.

The 2001
International Superhits! compilation will be released on Aug. 11 and will be followed by 2002's Shenanigans — a collection of B-sides, rarities and covers — on Sept. 15.

Green Day's last studio album, 2004's
American Idiot, will arrive on Oct. 13. The live Bullet In A Bible (2005) will complete the vinyl reissue program on Nov. 10.

Green Day's long-awaited
21st Century Breakdown will be released in May. The title track from the Butch Vig-produced album leaked on the internet earlier this month. No dates have been announced, but Green Day promise a world tour in support of 21st Century Breakdown.
