Slash Mourning The Loss Of His Mother

We're sorry to report that Velvet Revolver guitarist Slash's mother, Ola Hudson, died on Friday evening (June 5th) from lung cancer. Ola Hudson was a professional costume designer who created outfits for John Lennon, Diana Ross, the Pointer Sisters and others.

In happier news, Slash has revealed the full lineup of who will play with him when he headlines at the Quart Festival in Kristiansand, Norway on June 30th. Along with guests Ozzy Osbourne, Fergie and Rolling Stones guitarist Ron Wood, Slash's band will include Led Zeppelin drummer Jason Bonham, ex-Jane's Addiction bassist Chris Chaney, Rob Zombie guitarist John 5 and ex-Scars On Broadway guitarist Frankie Perez, who was recently considered for the vacant frontman spot in Velvet Revolver.
