Dolores O'Riordan Brings 'No Baggage' This Fall

"No Baggage," O'Riordan's second solo release and first since 2007's "Are You Listening?," is slated to hit shelves Aug. 25. The songstress wrote all the tracks alongside Dan Brodbeck, who also helped produce the album.

"I probably haven't worn my heart on my sleeve like this since the second Cranberries album [1994's 'No Need to Argue']," O'Riordan said in a press release. "Everyone, through their experiences or their background, has had terrible moments where they think they can't handle it. With this record I'm trying to show that no matter how bad things may seem, it's not really that bad in the big picture."

O'Riordan fronted the Irish rock outfit The Cranberries until the group took a hiatus in 2003. The band earned eight Top 10 singles on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart, including "Linger," "Zombie" and "Ode to My Family." The group reunited earlier this year for a one-off show in Ireland.

A more in-depth reunion isn't in the cards for the near future--"definitely down the road, but not right now because we've all got kids and babies," O'Riordan stated at the band's website. "To bring kids into the world, you need to be there for them. I'm really enjoying taking things at my own pace.''
