Aerosmith's Steven Tyler Airlifted To Hospital After Onstage Fall

Aerosmith frontman Steven Tylerhas been flown to hospital after falling offstage in the US yesterday (August 5).

The singer was reportedly dancing on a catwalk at the band's
Sturgis Motorcycle Rally gig in South Dakota, when he slipped offstage and injured his neck and shoulder.

Tyler's accident happened midway through the performance. He was dancing to entertain fans after the sound at the event had cut out during a rendition of 1989 hit 'Love In An Elevator'.

After being attended to by an onsite doctor, the frontman was airlifted to
Rapid City Regional Hospital where he received treatment for his injuries, reports Associated Press.

Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry then informed the band's audience that the remainder of the show was over.

Tyler's daughter Mia Tyler has since informed fans that the singer is now recuperating.

"Just got the news that my dad is okay," she wrote on her
Twitter page. "Thank you all for your wonderful prayers and positive energy!"
