Hello. Everybody...
My name is Kostis and I'm a broadcaster on Ubroadcast. Hmmm, no, not right!! I still haven't created my station due to the UB servers being down but I'll give some info about my ideas.
My radio station category will be Rock/Metal music. I will play all kinds of rock. From indie to nu metal. From alternative to rock/pop. From Franz Ferdinand to Scorpions. From Mettalica to Alice In Chains and Disturbed. From Pat Benatar to Offspring. I'll try to give you as much variety as possible!
I will be live when I can. I am very busy(schools in Greece are really demanding) but I'll make many lives. Some short(I'll be there only to say the next song's name and chat with the listeners), some long(news, calling friends to talk etc). I was also thinking of creating a specific artist Friday. For example from 8:00 to 9:00 pm I will play ONLY Scorpions music, reading their bio and telling my opinion about them. This will be ''SCORPIONS FRIDAY HOTSPOT''
or a ''NEED FOR SPEED FRIDAY HOTSPOT'' where I'll play only EA-trax songs. Or a Guitar Hero Hotspot.
COMMERCIALS
I haven't decided yet but Thessaloniki ROCK won't have commercials or have very few. Why? Because my goal is to create a station that people from all over the world will hear and where is the point of putting greek commercials? Some greek listeners may be interested but any English or French? NO! If I put any commercials I'll put something about a video on youtube that I've made, or a friend's blog etc. I think that no commercials- only music is a good thing.
CHAT WITH LISTENERS
If you want to talk to me do it!! Sometimes I'll talk about a topic like schools or free time and I want your opinion so that the show will go on. UB listeners can send me messages via the player(don't know how but it is possible because in the station manager I saw a listeners chat button ro something like this). I also have an e-mail where you can send me suggestions, song requests or just say hello.

As far as song requests are concerned, I may not have the song in my library(600+ songs- I know small library for a radio station but I'll make it bigger) and have to find(Yes, I'm a Limewire user) it so I won't be able to play it. But if you stay tuned I'll find it as soon as possible and play it. Estimated time-5min-30min.
Well, when I'm ready I'll post the station number here.

- Ubroadcast Player(Download it from ubroadcast.com)
After downloading it, open it, go to stations and enter the sation number. Then press jump...
