The story begins with a boy. He was out with his friends. Next to him, a bunch of demonstrators and a cop who wanted to show''I am a cop, look, gonna shoot you!'' He thought the boy was a demonstrator and shot. Some people said he didn't want to kill anyone but the bullet was ''reflected'' from a wall and killed the boy who didn't do anything except being unlucky and walking down that street, at that time of day! Too bad! And he was only 15. Everybody says he was really polite and friendly to anyone.
But ofcourse the story isn't over. All the big cities icluding Thessaloniki are a mess! If you try to reach the city centre, you'll see that it's impossible. You'll see students throwing whatever the find lying on the street, policemen throwing lachrymals too, garbage cans on fire, damaged cars and shops, yells, shouts, fights! t's is something like a war scene. My father who works at the city centre had to cross all the backstreets to... survive. It's is something like a war scene.
Many classmates of mine particpated in the protest and tomorrow, no school to honour this young person. ''Hooray!'' was the reaction of many students but I don't think he should be killed just to stay at home and sleep 3 hours more!!! Greece, you didn't deserve to be ashamed again!!
