Jealous great-grandmother Stefanija Antolic, 81, beat up her 67-year-old love rival with her walking stick after catching her with her hubby, 83. Police in Ivanic Desinicki, northern Croatia, cautioned Stefanija for assault after she confessed to thrashing neighbour Jozica Preglej in the love triangle row, reports local newspaper 24 Santa.
"I did it and I'm proud of it. She should find a man of her own and not take another woman's husband," she said. "Just because she's younger she thinks she's irresistible. But if she even looks at him again she'll get some more of the same. I'm not afraid of her or the police," she added. But furious Jozica hit back saying: "She is crazy. He's far too old for me. I wouldn't even think about seducing an old man like that." Straying hubby Stanko was not available for comment.
