DJ Hero tracklist leaked

Having tired of the groupies and adulation from being axe gods in Guitar Hero, we're pleased to see more details on Activision's new DJ Hero emerge ahead of its E3 launch – including a chunk of its track list.

The official pics revealed
earlier this month had already revealed that the controller would feature only three notes, but you'll apparently also need to adjust the crossfader and indulge in some scratching to get the crowd on side.

There'll also be an effects dial, a rewind setting to loop back and replay sections of the songs and a version of Guitar Hero's 'star power' called 'euphoria'.

But what of that tracklisting? Well, US mag Game Informer reckons this bunch of mash-ups will all make an appearance on the game alongside unconfirmed tracks from Beastie Boys, Beck, Blondie and Billy Squire:

Gorillaz' "Feel Good Inc." vs. Marvin Gaye's "I Heard It Through the Grapevine"
Chuck Brown & The Souls Searchers' "Bustin' Loose" vs. The Zombies' "Time of the Season" (DJ Shadow Mix)
David Bowie's "Let's Dance" vs. KRS-One's "Jack of Spades" (DJ Shadow Mix)
Nirvana's "All Apologies" vs. Rick James' "Give It to Me Baby" (DJ Shadow Mix)
Jurassic 5's "Jayou" vs. Herbie Hancock's "Rockit"
Tears for Fears' "Shout" vs. Eric Prydz' "Pjanoo"
