Pennywise's frontman has left the band, but the remaining members refuse to bow to the inevitable.
The punk veterans announced that after 19 years at the helm, singer Jim Lindberg has left Pennywise. No reasons for Lindberg's departure were revealed. The act's three remaining members pledge to continue with the band, though, and will begin a search to replace the voice of their band. Maybe Jeff Penalty's tired of pretending to be Jello Biafra and is looking for a new gig. You should look into that one, Fletcher.
"The band has always been about moving forward in life no matter what obstacles stand in front of you," the band's statement read. "We will begin our search for a new singer immediately. We will continue to tour the world and we are looking forward to writing new music. We've had a lot of good times and survived the hard times thanks to the undying support of our fans. We're looking forward to what the future may bring."
